Robert Wagner filed an appeal (Wagner v. Apex Marine Ship Management Corp. (2000) 83 Cal.App.4th 1444) after the court denied personal injury damages in his asbestos lawsuit. Wagner was diagnosed with asbestosis and asbestos-related pleural disease following 40 years of working as a merchant seaman.
