Brown & Root Inc. filed an appeal (Root, Inc. v. Moore 92 S.W.3d 848 (2002)) in a mesothelioma lawsuit filed by Nancy Moore following the death of her husband due to an asbestos-related disease. Mr. Moore received a mesothelioma diagnosis after working at Lone Star Steel from 1977 to 1985.
