Edward and Elizabeth Machnik filed a motion in a mesothelioma lawsuit (Machnik v. Buffalo Pumps Inc. 506 F.Supp.2d 99 (2007)) brought against several companies including Buffalo Pumps, General Electric, and Viad Corporation. Mr. Machnik alleged that he received a mesothelioma diagnosis after several years of asbestos exposure while serving aboard the USS Vogelgesang as a machinist’s mate in the US Navy.
