Robert Lineaweaver, Floyd King and Ralph Ward filed an asbestos lawsuit (Lineaweaver v. Plant Insulation Co. (1995) 31 Cal.App.4th 1409) after suffering injuries caused by asbestos exposure. The three men were diagnosed with asbestosis caused by working at a Standard Oil refinery, a Todd Naval Shipyard and the U.S. merchant marines.
