Industrial Indemnity Co. filed an appeal (Industrial Indemnity Co. v. Worker’s Comp. Appeals Bd. (1983) 145 Cal.App.3d 480) after the Workers’ Compensation Judge found that plural and lung injuries suffered by, Vincent James Pisciotta were caused by asbestos exposure. Mr. Pisciotta worked as a repairman and construction worker for National Steel & Shipbuilding Co., Inc. from 1958 to 1980.
