Dorothy Gilcrease filed an appeal (Gilcrease v. Tesoro Petroleum Corp. 70 S.W.3d 265 (2001)) in a mesothelioma lawsuit following the death of her husband due to asbestos-related injuries. Mr. Gilcrease received a mesothelioma diagnosis following years of workplace asbestos exposure as a welder and pipefitter at an oil refinery.
