Karen Gatton filed an appeal (Gatton v. A.P. Green Services, Inc. (1998) 64 Cal.App.4th 688) after the court’s denied benefits in a mesothelioma lawsuit filed after the death of her husband, Jerald, from asbestos-related injuries. Mr. Gatton suffered a mesothelioma diagnosis after several years of asbestos exposure at a steel galvanizing plant.
