Augusta Ferris filed an appeal (Ferris v. Gatke Corp. (2003) 107 Cal.App.4th 1211) in a mesothelioma lawsuit brought following the death of her husband, Harley Ferris, due to asbestos-related injuries. Mr. Ferris received a mesothelioma diagnosis after 40 years of workplace asbestos exposure and years of replacing friction break shoes.
