Congoleum Corporation filed an appeal (Ehret v. Congoleum Corp. (1999) 73 Cal.App.4th 1308) in a mesothelioma lawsuit after the courts awarded damages to Kathleen Ehret, following her husband’s death due to workplace asbestos exposure. Mr. Ehret was exposed to flooring products containing asbestos while working as a floor covering contractor.
