Naomi Dekens filed an appeal (Dekens v. Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (2003) 107 Cal.App.4th 1177) in a mesothelioma lawsuit following the death of her husband, Raymond, due to asbestos-related injuries. Mr. Dekens received a mesothelioma diagnosis following 35 years of workplace asbestos exposure repairing small appliances.
