Gercie Brooks filed an appeal (Brooks v. Armco, Inc. 194 S.W.3d 661 (2006)) in a mesothelioma lawsuit following the death of her husband, John, due to asbestos-related injuries. Brooks received a mesothelioma diagnosis after 22 years of asbestos exposure while working at Armco’s Pasadena, Texas plant.
