Borg-Warner Corp. filed an appeal (Borg-Warner Corp. v. Flores 153 S.W.3d 209 (2004)) in an asbestos lawsuit after the courts awarded damages to Arturo Flores that were due to asbestos-related injuries. Flores received an asbestosis diagnosis after several years of workplace asbestos exposure while working with brake pads manufactured by Borg-Warner.
